What is the purpose of the Terms of Use?

The trust you place in us every day is our priority. That’s why we do everything in our power to ensure that you can maintain this trust on a daily basis, which of course means respecting our Terms of Use (« Terms »).

The purpose of the Terms, which apply to all our services, is to set out the rules that you must follow when using the Site. Any use of the Site implies unreserved acceptance of the Terms.

You therefore certify that you have read the Terms prior to any use of the Site and that you have all the information and skills necessary to ensure that the services provided correspond to your needs.

What are our commitments concerning the Site?

This website is designed to provide you with all the information you may require about our services and our company.

In addition, your access to our website and services may occasionally be suspended or limited to allow for repairs, maintenance, or the addition of a new feature or service.

We do our utmost to provide you with a quality website, accessible 24/7, offering accurate and precise content, free from any risk of technical failure. However, as there is no such thing as « zero risk » when it comes to information technology, we cannot be held liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of the Site, as we cannot be held responsible for any errors, unavailability or interruptions that may occur on the Site, or in the event of a virus being accessible from the Site. Nor shall we be liable for any delay or impossibility on your part in fulfilling your obligations under the Terms if the delay or impossibility results from any cause beyond our reasonable control.

What are our commitments concerning the Site?

Our Site allows you to create and manage an account, place and manage orders, save and select payment methods, provide billing addresses, and access downloadable content and documents. You are responsible for ensuring that all information provided through your account is accurate, complete and kept up to date.

You may create and maintain one (1) personal account. Your login credentials are strictly personal and must be kept confidential. You remain fully responsible for any activity carried out through your account.

Any account that remains inactive for a continuous period of one (1) year may be deleted. You can also request the deletion of your account at any time by contacting hello@lodge-me-at.com. Account deletion is irreversible. Once an account is deleted, all access to it and associated content will be permanently removed.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to any account in the event of misuse, breach of these Terms or activity that could harm the Site, its users or our operations.

What rules apply to intellectual property?

We are and shall remain the exclusive owners of all intellectual property rights in the trademarks (e.g. Lodge Me At), graphics, logos or any other elements that you may view when using the Site.

We are and shall remain the exclusive owners of all intellectual property rights and third-party publisher licenses applicable to the general structure of the Site, such as the software used to operate it, the APIs we use, the Site content we write and/or select (e.g. text, sound, design, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, etc.), our know-how, etc.

The fact that you may have free access to them during your use does not imply that we grant you any license or right to use the elements of the Site.

You therefore have no right to use these elements in any way whatsoever, in whole or in part, without our prior written authorization. What is the applicable law for the use of the site or any dispute relating to these Terms?

Lodge Me At Group is primarily managed by the company incorporated under the laws of South Africa. Consequently, the use of our Site is subject to South African law and any dispute will be brought exclusively before the competent South African courts.

Can the Terms be modified?

We reserve the right to modify the Terms at any time and without prior notice. We therefore advise you to consult them as regularly as possible.
